Welcome to ChartLens. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and store your information when you use our service.

2. Who We Are

3. What Data We Collect

Account data: email address, password (encrypted, we never see it in plain text), account creation date, subscription plan.

Usage data: chart images you upload (stored for 90 days, then permanently deleted), analysis results generated from your uploads, number of analyses performed, date and time of analyses.

Payment data: we do not store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID for subscription management.

Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide the ChartLens analysis service, manage your account and subscription, process payments through Stripe, improve our service, send important account related emails, and comply with legal obligations.

We do NOT sell your data to any third party, use your uploaded charts for AI model training without explicit consent, or share your personal information with advertisers.

5. Third Party Services

Supabase — database and file storage provider. Stores your account data and uploaded images. Privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy

Anthropic — AI analysis provider. Your uploaded chart images are sent to Anthropic API for analysis. Anthropic does not store images after processing. Privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy

Stripe — payment processor. Handles all subscription payments securely. Privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Uploaded chart images are automatically and permanently deleted after 90 days. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing chartlens.co@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a Swedish based service operating in the EU we comply with GDPR. You have the right to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights email us at chartlens.co@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Data Retention

Account data: kept until you delete your account. Uploaded chart images: deleted after 90 days automatically. Analysis results: kept until you delete your account. Payment records: kept for 7 years as required by Swedish tax law.

10. Children's Privacy

ChartLens is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you by email of any significant changes. Continued use of ChartLens after changes means you accept the updated policy.
